[shadow=black,left,300]You're The Devil In Disguise[/shadow]
Take a Breath
Muscles burned with such fire that it consumed her very core, tears stung her eyes.
You Don't Cry Like You Should
She pushed harder, and harder, her muscles contracting and releasing with each step she took as the fire started to burn her heart, the fire licking at the muscle as she gasped for breath.
Does It Hurt? Say Goodbye To This World..
Her sanity had been pushed to its limits inside that hell hole, although she figured out that her ears and tail healed after slicing them with her claws; yes she actually experimented with her healing ability in the detention center. Another gasp of breath brought no release, only more burning that had long since consumed her lungs. She felt her back starting to lock up, which meant her body was being pushed to its limits, maybe beyond.
Cause You're So Unkind..
She had been unkind before leaving into the detention center, she had almost killed one of Lazarus' ex girlfriends. Literally. In truth she felt horrible for it, but she feared showing weakness now, feared being taken advantage of. Giving a glance to the Gym Office door, a soft growl released from her lips, her throat raw as she did a few more laps around the Gym. Ever since she had gotten her body into the best physical shape it could handle, the woman had barely left the Gym. A few times she had to be carried out by other fellow students for passing out onto the floor from exhaustion and once dehydration. Ms. Kochi had told her multiple times to drink plenty of water if she was going to exercise immensely like that. For that reason, she had a cup of water set off to the side that she could grab for a quick drink every now and again.
Suddenly, both of her legs had locked up at the same time and the girl went from a full sprint to a dead stop almost instantly; causing the girl to meowl out in surprise as she rolled across the floor before finally resting onto the dirty cold ground. Sweat beaded down and onto the floor, she had soaked her shirt and most likely shorts and socks. A stinging pain came from her leg knee and her upper back. Sweat stung her eyes as her ears laid flat against her head, tail laying lifeless behind her. Tears streamed down her face, for a long time now she just wanted to cry.
Why? Because of the human emotion bearing down on her soul.
So, she cried, not sobbed, not whined, but let the tears fall down her face as her lower lip trembled and quivered. Her chest rose and fell with quick breaths as her eyes closed, the sweat stinging them even more as she let out one sound, a small whimper.
What had snapped the feline girl out of it was the sound of footsteps heading her way, immediately she sucked it up and went back to her cold state. Trying to sit up, the girl found herself stuck on the floor with her muscles twitching and her throat raw and dry. So she did not speak, probably another student trying to give a helping hand. She was the longest staying student on campus, and that did not include Lazarus because well, he was a teacher now.
When the footsteps got close enough, the girl raised her gaze slightly to try and look over her shoulder, she didn't see anyone and just closed her eyes. A raspy sound coming from her lips that did not belong to her, "What do you want?
